Anmar K. Sarafa, CFA

Joint Managing Partner, Munros US

Anmar Sarafa is a founder of Steward Capital Management, an SEC registered investment firm headquartered in Birmingham, Michigan, and a Joint Managing Partner of Munros US. He established SCM in 1988, and the firm specializes in managing assets for both high net worth individual and institutional investors. As Chief Investment Officer of SCM, Anmar is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s investment strategies and client servicing. In 2006, SCM and Munros formed a partnership which established Munros Capital Management (US), an SEC registered investment firm. As Joint Managing Partner, Anmar is responsible for managing the daily business operations of Munros US, including accounting, compliance, marketing, and client servicing for U.S. based clients. Prior to founding Steward Capital Management, he specialized in fixed income strategies while employed with Drexel, Burnham, Lambert. Anmar earned his BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan.

As a natural entrepreneur, Anmar holds partnership interests in other companies, including a travel agency, health club, media company, and real estate. Since he was born in the Middle East, but grew up in Michigan, he enjoys international travel and learning about other economies and cultures. His other interests include photography, reading, health/nutrition, and sports, especially golf. Anmar’s travels has enabled him to enjoy golfing on some of the best courses around the world, an experience he hopes to continue for many more years. He is active with various charitable and community affairs in Michigan, and thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family, which includes thirteen wonderful nieces and nephews.
